Did Kotaku lie about being contacted by Sony?
Juuken gave me a suspicion that would make some conspiracy theorist proud: That Kotaku might’ve been playing a cruel April Fools joke on all of us about the big announcement that Sony is set to make on March 31st. Of course, speculation is running wild about this announcement as to what it could be (a price drop, new firmware, something). However, much criticism has been made about Kotaku with regards to how much anti-Sony slant has been in their stories (mostly due to the Home debacle that Kotaku has yet to apologize to Sony for, unless I missed something). This left many people wondering why the hell Sony would contact Kotaku first about this announcement.
First, breath a sigh or relief: the announcement will be real. Now, how do I know this? Because of what Juuken’s thoughts of this actually made me discover. Why would Sony contact Kotaku first?
They DIDN’T!
Worst Person In The Gaming World (March 13-20)
It’s that time again.
We haven’t done this in a while, but we figured that there is a reason to bring this back for a week (we have enough people to do this for that have really effed up big time).
Conservative “Christians” World Net Daily, Nerve Media, and our old friend Greenie all made this list. And oh my God, do we EVER have winners for this week. Just remember that this is just ranked based upon opinion only. You judge who really deserves top spot, since they all deserve it this week.
Here we go, this week’s nominees for Worst Person In The Gaming World.

James Hyde, please come back to 2009; the PS3 isn’t going away anytime soon.
I am usually called a PS3 fanboy, and there might be reasons why that is given to me: I have defended the PS3 on several occasions on GameGazette, and have called out people who have done nothing but take shits all over the system for no reason at all. This gets a lot of fanboys on the other side going because they believe no one is allowed to be fair to the system.
But seriously, after reading articles like James Hyde’s on Digital Battle listing the top 10 reasons the PS3 is failing, how can you NOT act like one just to tell him he’s wrong (which he is)
Fallout 3 on PS3 #1 on Amazon.com…wait, what?
Yeah you saw that right. On the bestselling video game page on Amazon.com (which is updated hourly), for right now at least, Fallout 3 is number one. Make that the Fallout 3…for the Playstation 3! It even toppled the Nintendo Wii products (which Killzone 2 did some time ago).
This is despite Bethesda making the DLC (for now) 360 exclusive and Bethesda having given a middle finger towards the Playstation 3 version when it comes to giving them anything extra besides trophies.
