New staff member (that N4Gers will recognize) & forums to Game Gazette
Darkpower here, going to introduce you to a few new things we have here at GG. One will make us a bit more interactive (and with that more relevant), and the other will make things a bit easier and a lot more interesting.
The first of these announcements about the site is that I am officially launching the Game Gazette forums. Those things that when I tried to link them to the Joomla accounts broke my site? Well, even they’re a bit easier to work with on Wordpress, although you’ll have to make a separate account for the forums (I’m not about to try THAT again until I know that what I use to do anything like that is stable). Get registered and post. Even if you thoroughly despise this site’s front page or whatever, you’ll probably be able to get something out of the forums. I’ve even got some forums dedicated to you guys helping out the site in a way. Also, if you want to apply to be a moderator, feel free to e-mail me at darkpowrjd@yahoo.com, and I’ll see what I can do to get you going. The rules are somewhat relaxed on these forums, but please respect my wishes to keep fanboyism into a forum called “Fanboy Wars” that I’ve created for that purpose. You can access the forums at http://forums.gamegazette.net.
The second of these announcements is about a new staff member. I sometimes call her Cookie (for her PSN name), but N4G users might know her better by a few of her handles: Her current one, ultimolu, and her previous N4G one (and the one she’ll be using here), Juuken. She’s rather opinionated and is not afraid to make herself and her voice about various gaming topics known. She’s also one that I trust alot to be fair to all consoles but to be blunt about things and not hold anything back, even at the risk of sounding fangirlish sometimes (what I love, when someone throws caution to the wind). In any case, I hope this addition helps GG become more productive in creating interesting, thought provoking articles. Also, if you are also interested in joining this little thing I have going here, feel free to contact me at the same e-mail above and I’ll do my best to check out your credentials. I can never have enough help, so feel free to apply if you think you have what it takes.
So there you go. I hope that these two things coupled with the controversial nature of the site’s articles will keep people coming back. I hope to be adding alot more to this site as things progress. Sign up for the forums and tell everyone you know about them. I would love to see the different opinions that you guys all have about various topics. Thank you.
